Former Teacher McCandless Sentenced To Jail
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - A former Brighton teacher who sexually assaulted a student has now been sentenced to jail time for a positive drug test.
Carrie McCandless, 34, tested positive for morphine while living in Georgia. She now has to serve the remainder of a 60 day term.
In 2007, she was convicted of having sex with a student on a camping trip to Estes Park.
In 2008, her parole officer caught her in bed with another parolee.
