Former Bronco Welker Joins Coaching Ranks

DENVER (CBS4)- Former Denver Bronco Wes Welker is joining the coach ranks.

The Houston Texans hired him as an offensive and special teams assistant coach.

Welker had dabbled in coaching with both the Dolphins and Ravens during OTAs.

The former wide receiver topped 100 receptions five of six seasons between 2006 and 2012 but has a history of concussions.
