Flights Delayed At DIA After FAA Declares 'Ground Delay' Due To Snow
DENVER (CBS4) - The Federal Aviation Administration put Denver International Airport on a ground delay because of the snow on Wednesday.
The order means more time between flights, which means delays of nearly an hour for some.
The airport says airlines have to de-ice the planes.
On FlightAware.com their Misery Map makes Denver the worst place to fly in and out of because of the weather Wednesday. More than half the flights have been delayed.
