Fire Heavily Damages Home In Elbert County
ELBERT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Investigators say a fire that seriously damaged a home in Elbert County spread from the fireplace.
Barking dogs alerted the homeowner to the flames and she was able to get out unharmed.
The fire started just before 4 a.m. Monday. Crews needed about 40 minutes to get the fire under control.
