Fire Ban In Effect For Some Lakewood Open Space Parks
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- There is a fire ban in effect for some of Lakewood's open space parks. Fires of any kind, including charcoal grills or portable fire pits have been banned at the following parks:
- Bear Creek Lake
- Bear Creek Greenbelt
- Thunder Valley
- William Frederick Hayden Park
Model rockets and smoking with combustible material are also banned. Liquid or gas-fueled grills, stoves or lanterns with shut off valves are allowed.
