Father Pleads Guilty To Child Abuse Death Of 3-Month-Old Son

BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4)- A father pleaded guilty to child abuse resulting in death in connection with the death of his 3-month-old son.

Martin Fernando Holguin, Jr. pleaded guilty as charged to child abuse resulting in death. He faces a stipulated sentence from 20 to 32 years under the plea agreement.

Police in Aurora found Aiden Martin Holguin unresponsive on Sept. 16, 2014 when they were called to a residence at 1641 N. Hanover Street. The infant suffered a skull fracture and severe head trauma, according to physicians at Children's Hospital.

Holguin will be sentenced at 8:30 a.m. March 18 in Adams County District Court.
