Victim Of Fatal Shooting On West Nevada Place Identified
DENVER (CBS4) - The identity of a man shot and killed in Denver Sunday afternoon has been released.
According to police, the shooting happened just after 12:30 p.m. in an alley running in the 3200 block of West Nevada Place.
The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner on Monday identified the victim as 45-year-old Scott Breitinger.
"An autopsy was completed and the cause of death was determined to be from a gunshot wound. The manner was determined to be homicide," the coroner's office said in a statement.
Police say the suspect took off running and they don't have a good description to go off yet.
