Autopsy Being Performed To Identify Missing Treasure Hunter
CANON CITY, Colo. (CBS4) - An autopsy is being done Monday on human remains found near the Arkansas River Friday.
Investigators say they could belong to 31-year-old Eric Ashby.
Ashby came to Colorado to hunt for treasure supposedly hidden by New Mexico author Forrest Fenn.
Ashby was following clues when he fell out of a raft a month ago east of Florence.
Two other Coloradans have died while searching for this same treasure.
