Dust Storm Causes Multiple Crashes On Highway 287
LAMAR, Colo. (CBS4) - Highway 287 at mile marker 71, south of Lamar, is still closed Thursday morning after a crash Wednesday evening.
It began around 7:00 p.m. and included three separate accidents. A total of 11 vehicles were involved and two people died on the scene.
Colorado State Patrol said a dust storm is the cause.
