Trial Scheduled To Start In January For Donthe Lucas, Suspected Of Killing Kelsie Schelling In 2013
(CBS4) - A new trial date has been set for Donthe Lucas, the man suspected of killing Kelsie Schelling. Schelling, who lived in Denver, vanished after she drove to Pueblo to meet her boyfriend more than 7 years ago. She was pregnant when she disappeared in February 2013.
Lucas is charged with her murder even though her body has never been found. His trial date is now set to start on Jan. 25.
Lucas pleaded not guilt to first degree murder in August 2018.
