Dog Owners In Boulder Warned Of Parvo
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Boulder Animal Control has a warning for dog owners. Six puppies have tested positive for parvo virus.
The highly-contagious illness targets dogs.
All those infected were located in the area of 9th and Lincoln in Boulder around the public library.
One of the puppies has died.
Symptoms of parvo include fatigue, vomiting and diarrhea.
Boulder Animal Control officials said vaccinated dogs are at low risk of contracting the illness.
