Despite 7-1 Record, Rams Still Don't Make AP Top 25
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - The Colorado State Rams football team can't crack the AP Top 25 despite winning six in a row.
They're ranked 26th.
"But you have to start somewhere, and my guess is (we) probably started the season at 120, 125. We've made some inroads. We've started to climb a little bit. But I think it's kind of a cool deal," head coach Jim McElwain said Monday.
The Rams are 7-1 after beating Wyoming on Saturday. They travel to San Jose State on Saturday for a 5 p.m. start.
