Water Prices Could Be Going Up For Denver
DENVER (CBS4) - People in Denver could soon pay more on their water bills.
On Wednesday, Denver Water will ask city commissioners to approve an extra $7 million, increasing the department's budget by 12 percent to more than $430 million.
Officials say they need the extra money to replace aging pipes, patch up underground storage thanks, and modernize the plants that clean the water.
