Denver Police Officers Help Clean Elderly Woman's Home
DENVER (CBS4) - On Saturday some Denver police officers welcomed a woman home after de-cluttering her home.
The officers volunteered their time, throwing out enough trash to fill four dumpsters. The work took three weeks to complete.
Connie, 94, spent the time at a hotel while the police officers cleaned. She returned to a standing ovation.
"Policemen don't just give tickets, arrest people," Connie said. "They help people, and I love them all."
Connie said it feels like she received a new home.
