Denver Police Find Murdered Woman During Welfare Check, Man In Custody
DENVER (CBS4) - Police in Denver are investigating a homicide that occurred Sunday afternoon.
The murder was discovered in the 3400 block of Park Avenue West just after 12:30 p.m. Officers made the discovery while responding to a welfare check.
"During the course of the initial investigation, officers discovered a deceased adult female, at which time detectives were dispatched to the scene to begin an investigation," police said in a statement.
Police said they have a male suspect in custody. They haven't released his name.
The victim's name also hasn't been released.
