Denver Fast Food Workers To Strike For $15 Wage
DENVER (AP) — Fast food workers in Denver are expected to demonstrate again in favor of higher wages.
Workers from several chains plan to walk off the job Thursday and demonstrate outside two Denver McDonald's. They're backing a nationwide push by fast food workers for $15 an hour wages.
The protest comes three months after another round of protests in Denver that led to the arrests of three people who sat down in the middle of Colfax Avenue outside a McDonald's near the state Capitol.
