Denver City Council Hold Public Hearing About Street Flooding Problems
DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver City Council is holding a public hearing Monday evening on a project that could fix flooding problems seen in some neighborhoods.
A proposed drainage project would fix storm sewers in the area of 33rd Avenue and Olive Street that saw massive flooding recently.
Part of the funding for that project is tied to a proposal to improve Interstate 70, but not everyone who supports the drainage plan is a fan of the I-70 proposal.
The city council will listen to testimony at the hearing before approving the project.
