Denver Broncos Cheerleader Tryouts On Sunday
DENVER (CBS4)- Auditions for the Denver Broncos cheerleaders are scheduled for Sunday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
About 200 cheerleader hopefuls are expected to tryout for the preliminary round. Fifty will be selected to participate in the finals on April 24 at the University of Denver's June Swaner Gates Concert Hall.
Cheerleader final auditions will be open to the public. General admission tickets are available for purchase.
Participants should wear athletic attire and bring a black and white or color photograph of their self to the audition. The tryouts will include a dance audition with choreography taught on the spot. All participants auditioning for the Denver Broncos cheerleaders must be 21 years old by July 15 of this year.

Registration at the preliminaries on Sunday will begin at 11 a.m., with auditions beginning at noon. The finals on Sunday, April 24, will begin at 6 p.m. with the top 50 individuals from the preliminaries performing.

Parking is available in attached parking garage ($8). Street and metered parking is free on Sunday.
For the dance finals taking place on Sunday, April 24, doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 6 p.m. Seating is all general admission. Interviews with members of the 2016 squad will be allowed immediately following the show at approximately 8 p.m.
About the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders
In 2016, the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders traveled with the team to the Bay Area to participate in Super Bowl 50 activities. All 26 team members spent the week performing at Super Bowl events, pep rallies, and television appearances, all culminating with a game day World Championship victory.
In recent years, the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders have been featured on nationally televised segments on The Today Show, Good Morning America, Fox News, Fox & Friends, Fox Sports E!, The Late Show with David Letterman, Fox Files, ABC's Monday Night Football and Dog Eat Dog. In addition, they've appeared in weekly features on Fox Sports Net. They have also traveled to Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, Cuba, Guam, the Marshall Islands, Italy and Australia on tours performing for our U.S. Troops.
