Deer Trail Delays Vote On Drone Hunting
DEER TRAIL, Colo. (CBS4) - Deer Trail in Arapahoe County has delayed its vote on issuing hunting permits for drones that was planned for Tuesday.
The town clerk says the election will be delayed until December because of a citizen challenge. Supporters of Deer Trail's proposal say it would make the town a national attraction for gun enthusiasts.
The proposal has sharply divided the town and brought a stern warning from the Federal Aviation Administration that says shooting an unmanned aircraft is a crime.
