Parent Teacher Student Organization Treasurer Accused Of Stealing Money From Denver School Of The Arts

DENVER (CBS4)- The woman who was treasurer for the Parent Teacher Student Organization for the Denver School of the Arts is facing theft charges. Cynthia McKee is facing felony charges in relation to the crime.

According to the Denver District Attorney's Office, McKee, 55, wrote scores of checks to herself, members of her family and friends, totaling approximately $56,000. The thefts occurred over a five year period, from 2013-2018.
