Crews Contain Brush Fire Near Lamar
LAMAR, Colo. (CBS4) - Fire crews who have been fighting a brush fire north of Lamar are getting the upper hand on the blaze.
The fire has burned 800 acres. Crews announced Saturday evening the fire has now been contained.
The fire started in an open field Saturday afternoon and was fueled by strong winds.
No structures were damaged.
Investigators are trying to find a cause of the fire.
