1 rescued from confined space in Colorado near Arapahoe County Fairgrounds
South Metro Fire Rescue crews rushed to conduct a confined space rescue near the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds early Wednesday morning. One person was rescued and taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
According to investigators, crews rushed to 25690 E. Quincy Avenue just after 6 a.m.
Crews said they worked to rescue one person from the confined space. Investigators said the person was taken "non-emergent" to the hospital by paramedics from Sable Altura Fire.
What happened leading up to the rescue is being investigated.
