GLOUCESTERSHIRE, England (CBS4) - A veteran from Colorado is the big cheese in England.
The annual "Cheese Roll" races took place at Cooper's Hill near Gloucestershire on Monday. The object is simple -- toss a wheel of cheese down a very, very steep hill and roll down after it.
Dressed in red, white and blue, Army veteran Kenny Rackers from Colorado Springs came up with the prize.
"I came over 3,000 or 4,000 miles just for this race. I put it on my bucket list and today it was to win and that's what I did," Rackers said.
Daredevils from across the world converge on the town of Brockworth during the country's Bank Holiday for the event. Rolling down the hill is dangerous and some contestants break legs or arms.
