Colorado School Of Mines' Stefanie Tompkins Appointed As Director Of DARPA
GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4)- A big congratulations for a leader at the Colorado School of Mines. Stefanie Tompkins has been appointed as director for the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA.
Tompkins worked as vice president for research and technology transfer at the Mines. She is a military intelligence Army veteran and geologist by training.
Tompkins has spent much of her career developing new technology capabilities.
