Colorado issues state-wide alert for pickup truck suspected of injuring pedestrian

Colorado authorities issued a state-wide bulletin for a pickup truck and driver who reportedly hit and a pedestrian in north Denver early Saturday morning and left without helping that injured person.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation distributed a Medina Alert just before 9 a.m. on behalf of the Denver Police Department, which is investigating the incident. According to DPD, a 2003-2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a White or Hispanic man believed to be 25-30 years old caused serious injuries to the pedestrian at 48th Avenue and Kalamath Street. The truck drove away from the scene after the collision. DPD shared an image of the suspected truck and noted distinct features.

No details about the pedestrian were provided.
