Colorado investigators say model jet crash sparked fire in Douglas County

Fire investigators in Colorado determined that a model plane sparked a fire when it went down in a field in Douglas County. According to South Metro Fire Rescue, crews were able to quickly contain the fire on Roxborough Park Road on Monday.

Firefighters said the gas-powered plane crashed, sparking a fire that burned about half an acre. 

Crews said they were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
