Colorado Heat Is On Resumes With Holidays

DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Department of Transportation, Colorado State Patrol and 80 local law enforcement are working together to resume a statewide DUI enforcement campaign during the holiday season.

The Colorado State Patrol says the holiday DUI enforcement started Friday and will continue through Dec. 14.

The effort seeks to ensure roads are as safe for individuals and families going to and from holiday celebrations around the state.

During the Thanksgiving weekend, 269 arrests were made statewide for drunk driving.
