185 Avalanches Recorded In Colorado Last Week

SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Avalanches are a concern in the Colorado this fall thanks to early- and a lot of- snow. The Colorado Avalanche Information Center recorded 185 avalanches last week.

That included 75 slides that were large enough to bury a person.

The CAIC expects activity to increase as more snow is predicted for Colorado this week.
