Cirque Du Soleil Releases Movie As Tickets Go On Sale For Live Show
DENVER (CBS4) - Cirque du Soleil has a new movie called "Worlds Away" that will be released next Tuesday on home video, which makes it just in time to announce the on-sale date for tickets to Cirque's new show, "Amaluna," coming to Denver this summer.
CBS4 critic at Large Greg Moody found out about the details on both.
"Cirque du Soleil 'World's Away' takes the viewers on a journey through imagination -- landscapes filled with acrobatic artistry and visual delights," Moody said.
The movie was originally released in both 2D and 3D versions, and next Tuesday's video release will be the same for those who already have their 3D home video in place.
Prices on the DVD will range from $29 to $49 depending on the format, but shop around, there are always deals.
"Then again for those of us who love our Cirque live. There is 'Amaluna,' the latest Cirque show which arrives in the parking lot of the Pepsi Center on July 18," Moody said.
Tickets go on sale Friday, but head to the Cirque website now and join the Cirque Club to get a pre-sale jump on everybody else in the metro area.
