Cheerleaders Give Out T-Shirts Honoring Claire Davis
HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) – Cheerleaders at Thunder Ridge High School handed out T-shirts honoring Claire Davis.
The 17-year-old senior was shot at Arapahoe High School Last Week.
She passed away Saturday afternoon.
The cheerleaders gave out the "Colorado Strong" T-shirts and took orders for more.
So far the squad has raided more than $44,000.
Their coach, Mandy Martinez, designed the T-shirt.
"Being a teacher and coach, I just feel for the community and what they're going through and I always try and teach my kids to do what's right every time whether you know the person or not," said Martinez.
Coach Martinez also coordinated handing out the shirts.
