Celebration Of American Indian Culture Held At Denver Art Museum
DENVER (CBS4) - A celebration of American Indian culture was held at the Denver Art Museum this weekend.
The 25th annual "Friendship Pow-Wow" featured local artists, drum circles and dancing.
"It doesn't feel complete if you're not dancing. It's been a while since I danced and it feels good to be dancing with my little brother, sharing my culture with other people" said Tony Hedgepeth, a Saponi from North Carolina.
The pow-wow is one of the art museum's longest-running events.
