CDOT Truck Shields Workers From Getting Hurt During Crash
GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - A Colorado Department of Transportation truck kept workers from getting hurt during an accident Wednesday morning.
The incident happened on Interstate 70 at Lookout Mountain. Crews were fixing a guardrail when a semi smashed into the CDOT work truck set up behind them.
The truck is specifically designed to shield work crews and it worked.
Two of the three lanes on I-70 were closed while the accident was cleaned up.
