Woman Shot After Husband Investigates Suspicious Noise
CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) - Castle Rock police say a woman is recovering after her husband accidentally shot her. It happened Friday night at their home on Howe Street.
Police say the man was investigating a suspicious noise when he fired two shots at who he thought was an intruder.
One of the rounds hit his wife in the stomach -- the other missed her.
The woman was in surgery Saturday morning and is expected to recover.
