Bus Crash Closes I-25 In Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4)- Two elderly people were hurt when the bus they were riding in crashed on Thursday morning.

The southbound lanes of Interstate 25 are closed between 1st Street and 13th Street in Pueblo.

Police said a bus from Primrose Retirement Community and another vehicle were involved in the accident.

Two staff members and two residents were on the bus. Both residents were taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

A woman was reportedly driving the other vehicle. Police said they do know know if she was injured.

The closure is expected to remain in place while police finish their investigation.
