Bugs Force CU To Cut Down Several Trees
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – The University of Colorado was forced to cut down 16 Ash trees infested with the Emerald Ash Borer.
The tiny beetle has killed more than 50 million trees across the country since 2002.
The Daily Camera reports city forestry will inspect the 16 trees from the campus.
The City of Boulder itself has also had to cut down six trees because of the insect.
