Broomfield Police Need Help To Catch Robbery Suspect

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Broomfield need help identifying and catching a robbery suspect.

Officers rushed to the 5300 block of Heather Court on Jan. 13 about 6:15 p.m. on reports of a robbery.

The victim, an adult female, told police she had just arrived home and was approached in the driveway outside of her residence by an unidentified male demanding that she give him her purse.

The man grabbed the purse from the woman who was knocked to the ground during the struggle.

Once he obtained the purse he left the area in an older model, dark-colored sedan.

The suspect is described as an adult male, early 20s, about 5-foot-6, with a dark complexion, short dark hair and was wearing a red sweatshirt.

The victim was not physically injured during the robbery.
