Broomfield Man Arrested After Body Found In Street

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Broomfield have arrested a man after another man was found dead in a street early Saturday morning.

According to Sgt. Steve Griebel with Broomfield police, a call came in at 6:25 a.m. about a man lying in the street in the 2500 block of 134th Circle. When officers arrived they found a 34-year-old man dead.

"The investigation revealed there had been an altercation at the suspect's residence between the victim and the suspect, which allegedly resulted in the victim's death," police said in a statement.

Police arrested Matthew P. Burnett, 32, in connection with the victim's death. The victim's name has not been released. It's not clear how he died.
