Broncos Sign Rookie Tackle Charles Sweeton
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The Denver Broncos on Sunday announced the signing of rookie tackle Charles Sweeton and designated tackle Connor Rains as waived/injured.
Sweeton, 6-foot-5, 291 pounds, played for the University of Tennessee-Martin. He was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as a college free agent on May 11.
He was named a first-team All-Ohio Valley Conference selection following his senior year in 2014.
