DENVER (CBS4) - After the NFL handed down their punishments stemming from the Deflategate investigation, the news of Tom Brady's suspension the Patriots fine and loss of draft picks spread in no time. While national reactions from the sports world showed a range of emotions, the Broncos have tried to remain focused on themselves.
CBS4's Vic Lombardi spoke with both General Manager John Elway and Head Coach Gary Kubiak about the Patriots drama.
Elway, though surprised by the attention Deflategate is receiving, said the integrity of the game should be the commissioner's priority, "making sure that they take care of the game."
He also voiced some thoughts on what the punishment signifies to all 32 teams in the league.
Kubiak had less of an opinion as he remains focused on the Broncos.
"We've got to worry about the Broncos right now and make sure we're as good as we can be," he said.
