Broncos Offense Once Again Lacking, Denver Trails Kansas City 19-0 At Halftime
DENVER (CBS4/The Sports Xchange) - After picking off Peyton Manning at the end of the first quarter, the Kansas City Chiefs added to their lead with a 49-yard field to take a 13-0 lead over the Denver Broncos to open up the second quarter.
The Broncos couldn't get a first down on their first possession of the second quarter and had to punt.
On their second possession of the quarter Manning threw another interception. He leads the NFL with the most interceptions with 16. The Chiefs were able to capitalize on the turnover with another Cairo Santos field goal to make it 16-0.
Manning was only sacked twice in the first half but was under constant pressure.
Santos added another field goal to close out the half, 19-0.
