Crews Battle Small Wildfire Near Coffintop Mountain In Boulder County
BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The U.S. Forest Service responded to a small wildfire in Boulder County Monday afternoon. The burn area is located near Coffintop Mountain.
Crews on scene said no structures were threatened. Smoke was visible from Lyons and Highway 7.
There is an investigation underway to determine if the fire was caused by a lightning strike. A storm system moved through the area before the fire started.
