Bizarre Call About Mannequin Leads Police To Dead Body
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Aurora have opened a homicide investigation after receiving a bizarre call on Thursday.
Police said someone called 911 and reported a mannequin sitting in Side Creek Park with a weapon. The park is located near Tower and Iliff in Aurora.
When officers arrived they found a man who had been shot. He was not alive. Investigators believe the death is suspicious but say there is no threat to the public.
