Bike Falling Off Car Leads To Fatal Crash
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - One person is dead after a crash in Lakewood that occurred Sunday night.
The crash happened just before 9 p.m. on West 6th Avenue just east of Indiana Street. Police say a bike fell off a car and people in another vehicle stopped to help. Investigators say another car rear-ended them as the driver was about to leave.
One person died at the scene.
All people involved remained on scene.
Police say the driver who rear-ended the vehicle was not hurt. They don't believe the person was speeding.
No names have been released.
