Bear Attempts To Turn Self In To Police
GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - Officers in Golden got an unexpected visitor Saturday morning.
Deputies snapped pictures of a bear as it wandered around outside of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
Both Golden and Jefferson County Animal Control believe the bear went under Highway 6 and along bike paths and drainage ditches to get there.
Sheriff's deputies said the bear didn't cause any problems and wandered off.
