Aurora Resident Says 'Enough Is Enough' After Threats Against Police

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Christopher Pentico is wheelchair-bound but is making huge strides to show his appreciation for his community police force in the wake of threats and violence aimed towards police.

Pentico says he heard about the latest threat to local law enforcement officers and said he felt he needed to do something to show the police that the community cares.

"This is crazy; this does not represent all of us. We need them they have our backs and we have theirs," Pentico told CBS4 Wednesday.

Word of a rally being held tonight spread on social media and organizers hope for hundreds of people to show up at the Aurora Police Administrative building starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Participants will form a human circle chain around the building as a symbolic gesture of appreciation for what police do."

The Aurora Police Administrative building is located at 15001 East Alameda Parkway.
