Aurora Police Shoot Armed Man While Investigating Assault
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Aurora police say one of their officers shot a man Thursday night while investigating an assault. The man was taken to the hospital but there was no word on how he is doing on Friday.
It happened at 11:30 p.m. on South Bahama Street near Tower Road and Louisiana Avenue. Officers say the man was armed.
It is not clear what led up to the shooting. Denver police and the Denver DA's office is assisting with the investigation.
