Aurora Jewelry Store Robbers Make Off With 'Significant Amount' Of Cash

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Aurora would like the public's help identifying two suspects in a jewelry store robbery.

According to police, two men robbed the Diamond Mine Jewelry Store located at 3120 South Parker Road on March 2 at approximately 11 a.m.

The store owner told CBS4 the robbers got away with a "significant amount" of cash.

One suspect is described as a black man in his 30s with a pock-marked face. He's around 6-foot-4 and weighs approximately 240 pounds.

"He wore a high-quality theatrical mask. One witness stated that the mask had the likeness of Hollywood actor Laurence Fishburne," police said in a statement.

The other suspect is described as a black man in his late 20s to early 30s, 5-foot-9 and weighs around 150 pounds. He wore a blue sweater with a white anchor on the front and did not wear a mask.

The suspects left the scene in a newer-model (possibly 2008-2010) white Honda Accord.
