Aurora Approves Huge Tax Break To Amazon For New Facility
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - The city of Aurora is offering more than $1 million in tax breaks to Amazon.
The online retailer plans to build a huge facility in Aurora.
The Aurora City Council approved the tax deal Monday night. It gives Amazon a 36 percent discount on sales and use taxes for the construction.
The warehouse will be near the Interstate 70 and E-470 interchange. It is expected to bring about 1,000 new jobs.
