Man Charged With Attempted Robbery At Broncos Scrimmage Game

DENVER (CBS4)- A man has been formally charged following an attempted robbery at Saturday's Broncos scrimmage game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Torrey Puckett has been charged with criminal attempt to commit robbery, theft and child abuse.

The charges allege that as the victim was preparing to leave the scrimmage when he noticed his camera was missing.

A witness pointed out Puckett, 26, as a suspect as he was running up the stairs. The victim's 17-year-old son, who was at the top of the stairs, intervened in subduing him.

Puckett has been released from custody on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court on August 17 for his second advisement.
