Arvada Fire works to extinguish structure fire near Independence Street

Arvada police tweeted Saturday afternoon that the fire department is working to extinguish a structure fire near 6900 Independence Street. 

Arvada PD says a second alarm has been assigned, and there are crews from Fairmount Fire and West Metro Fire rescue.
